Our client, a leading global professional services firm, seeks an experienced Corporate Investigation Lawyer to oversee and manage high-profile corporate compliance investigations. In this critical role, you will address allegations of misconduct reported through various internal channels, directly supporting the company’s commitment to integrity and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for leading significant and complex corporate investigations involving financial and regulatory matters.

  • Partner with senior leadership to assess legal risks and develop strategic investigation plans.
  • Define scopes, conduct interviews, compile reports, and recommend appropriate remedial measures.
  • Oversee internal teams and external resources, ensuring investigations are thorough, timely, and compliant with global standards.
  • Manage all notification, documentation, and reporting processes related to investigations.
  • Advise senior business and HR leadership on risk mitigation and remedial actions.
  • Liaise with Compliance Program leads, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement as needed.
  • Train, mentor, and support investigative attorneys and staff.
  • Monitor legal developments impacting investigative practices and corporate compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Education: Qualified lawyer (mandatory).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience leading and managing investigations, including:
  • Code of Business Ethics and Financial Fraud Investigations.
  • Regulatory and governmental investigations.
  • Drafting confidential reports and advising senior leadership on compliance risks and personnel actions.
  • Related litigation experience (corporate and/or employment litigation).

  • Strong analytical, interviewing, and decision-making skills.
