We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager or Commercial Lawyer to join the EMEA procurement legal team of a global technology organisation. This is a transactional role focused on supporting vendor contracting for new site development across the EMEA region, including services such as electrical, facilities management, maintenance, construction, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial vendor agreements across EMEA
- Applying internal contract playbooks to transactions and exercising sound judgement on when escalation is needed
- Supporting contract lifecycle management, including tracking, reporting, and coordinating approvals
- Assisting with the development and localisation of contract playbooks (French or German preferred)
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment with procurement, legal, and business stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in reviewing and negotiating commercial and vendor contracts
- Excellent commercial judgement and pragmatic legal thinking
- Familiarity with procurement and supplier-side contracting
- Ability to work independently with light supervision and manage competing priorities
Preferred Skills:
- Professional legal qualification (common law or civil law jurisdiction)
- French or German language skills highly desirable (Spanish also a plus)
- Prior experience working on infrastructure-related vendor contracts (e.g., construction, facilities)
- Project management or coordination experience a plus
