Elevate is looking to engage Technology Lawyers to support a range of clients operating across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the drafting, review, and negotiation of technology-focused agreements, including software licences, SaaS contracts, and technology development arrangements.
  • Advise on legal issues relating to intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance, particularly in the context of digital products, apps, and broader product development initiatives.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders – including product, engineering, and commercial teams – to help manage legal risk and ensure compliant product rollouts and commercial arrangements.
  • Keep up to date with developments in AI regulation and ethics, providing practical, forward-looking advice on the legal considerations of implementing AI-driven solutions.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in technology transactions, gained in private practice or in-house.
  • Solid grounding in intellectual property, data protection frameworks (such as GDPR), and wider technology regulation, including emerging areas like the EU AI Act and Digital Services Act.
  • Prior exposure to technology businesses or in-house environments is preferred, particularly within software or SaaS organisations, alongside a good understanding of commercial models and the product lifecycle.
