We are seeking an experienced Legal Operations Professional to join an interim legal team supporting the UK and EMEA business of a leading global consumer brand. This is a particularly exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes and helping legal teams operate more efficiently. You will play a key role in establishing foundational legal operations processes and infrastructure during a period of significant transformation. The role will work closely with legal and business stakeholders to introduce greater consistency, visibility and efficiency across the legal function. Location: London Working Pattern: Hybrid β 2β3 days per week onsite Contract: September 2026 β December 2026, with potential extension into early 2027 Key Responsibilities Develop and implement processes for legal intake, matter management and request tracking . Establish and improve outside counsel engagement and management processes . Support law firm intake, matter opening and ongoing matter tracking. Develop processes for legal invoice management and payment workflows . Support the creation and improvement of contracting and legal support workflows. Help develop standardised templates, playbooks and process documentation. Establish reporting and analytics to provide greater visibility of legal activity and workload. Capture and analyse data around legal requests, matter types, workload and process efficiency. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve how legal services are delivered to the business. Work with legal and business stakeholders to introduce practical, user-friendly processes and self-service resources. About You We are looking for someone with strong Legal Operations, Legal Project Management or legal function transformation experience. You will ideally have: Experience working within a legal team, legal operations function or professional services environment. Practical experience implementing or improving legal processes and workflows. Experience with matter management, outside counsel management, legal intake or legal spend processes. Strong organisational and project management skills. Experience developing reporting, metrics and dashboards to improve visibility across a legal function. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently. The ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment and build relationships quickly.
