Corporate Paralegal with demonstrated experience supporting legal matters across multiple jurisdictions.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing legal team, providing corporate governance and legal support across a complex multinational business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the legal team on corporate governance matters across multiple jurisdictions .
Manage corporate entity portfolios , including incorporations, restructurings, dissolutions, and post-acquisition integrations.
- Prepare and maintain board minutes, written resolutions, powers of attorney, share transfer documentation, and other corporate governance materials.
- Manage Companies House filings (where applicable), statutory registers, and other corporate records.
- Conduct legal and corporate governance research on local laws, regulations, and compliance requirements across African jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel on corporate transactions, governance matters, and ongoing entity management.
- Support legal and regulatory projects, maintaining corporate documentation and tracking key deliverables.
- Organise and maintain legal records, templates, and entity management systems.
- Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in legal research, document preparation, and administrative processes.
- Assist with ad hoc legal and corporate administrative tasks as required.
- Key Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a
Corporate Paralegal supporting legal matters across one or more African jurisdictions.
- Strong background in corporate governance, entity management, and company secretarial support within complex multinational organisations.
- Extensive experience managing UK and international entity portfolios, including incorporations, restructurings, dissolutions, and post-acquisition integrations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven experience preparing board minutes, written resolutions, powers of attorney, share transfers, Companies House filings, and maintaining statutory records.
- Experience coordinating with external counsel and cross-functional stakeholders on corporate transactions and governance matters.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance requirements and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proficiency with AI tools to support legal research, document drafting, and workflow efficiencies.
- Excellent drafting, organisational, and document management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
