A fast growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Loughton, Essex is looking to add an IT Support Technician to the team following several recent client wins and expansion. You will join a busy support team providing 1st Line / 2nd Line IT Support to a range of SME clients, with varying user bases. This is a varied role within an MSP where you will gain exposure to multiple client infrastructures and technologies. Customer service is a key focus for the team, so they are looking for someone who enjoys working with users, communicates clearly and takes pride in delivering a high level of support experience alongside strong technical troubleshooting.

This opportunity would suit someone with 1 to 3 years experience in an IT Support, Service Desk or Helpdesk role who is looking to continue developing their technical skills within a growing MSP environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st Line and 2nd Line IT Support to users across multiple client environments
  • Troubleshoot issues across Windows and macOS devices
  • Support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments
  • Manage Active Directory / Entra ID user accounts and permissions
  • Assist with device setup, onboarding and endpoint configuration
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Work through tickets via the IT Service Desk / Helpdesk system
  • Deliver a high level of customer service across multiple client environments
Technical Experience
  • Strong troubleshooting across Windows, macOS and end user devices
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 / Office 365 or Google Workspace
  • Exposure to Active Directory or Entra ID
  • Understanding of basic networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
  • Experience within an MSP environment would be beneficial but is not essential
