A growing public sector organisation is delivering a major digital transformation programme focused on automation, efficiency, and smarter service delivery. This role sits at the centre of that programme, offering the opportunity to shape how services operate through practical automation and measurable improvements.

You’ll be responsible for identifying and delivering automation opportunities across the organisation, working closely with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners to reduce manual processes, improve workflows, and drive real outcomes. This is not a deep technical data engineering role. The focus is on automation, integration, and delivery of impact, within a Microsoft-led environment.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and deliver automation opportunities across business functions
  • Design and build workflow automation and system integrations
  • Work within a Microsoft stack environment (Power Platform, Azure-based tools)
  • Collaborate with third-party delivery partners to implement scalable solutions
  • Support data movement and integration across systems where required
  • Track and report on outcomes including efficiency gains and cost savings
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand challenges and translate into solutions
Requirements
  • Experience delivering automation or workflow solutions in a Microsoft environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar RPA tools
  • Experience working with integrations, APIs, and data concepts (SQL, ETL basics)
  • Ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience driving process improvement and efficiency initiatives
  • Comfortable working with external partners and suppliers
Desirable
  • Exposure to Azure tools (e.g. Data Factory, integrations)
  • Experience within public sector or regulated environments
  • Understanding of data governance and information management
