The Role
As a Senior Therapeutic Adult Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver person-centred, therapeutic support tailored to individual needs
- Ensure the physical, emotional, religious, educational, and psychological needs of service users are met within a safe and supportive environment
- Lead on the formulation, implementation, and review of care plans
- Promote independence by supporting daily living skills (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care
- Build trusting, respectful relationships that empower service users to make informed choices
- Support individuals to maintain safe, stable tenancies and positive home environments
- Work collaboratively with service users, families, carers, and multi‑agency partners — including statutory and voluntary sector professionals
- Enable access to education, employment, and community opportunities
- Maintain accurate, high‑quality records in line with regulatory and organisational standards
- Act as a positive role model and senior presence within the team, demonstrating professionalism and emotional resilience
Shift Pattern
Full‑time, 40 hours per week (5 out of 7 days, including weekends). Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the individuals we support.

- 10:00 – 20:00
- 12:00 – 20:00
- 08:00 – 20:00
About You
- Have a minimum of 12 months' recent experience working directly with adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, or complex needs
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to person‑centred and values‑based care
- Be compassionate, reliable, and emotionally aware
- Show accountability and professionalism in your practice
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and a range of statutory and voluntary sector professionals
- Be adaptable, resilient, and committed to continuous learning and development
