The Role: As a Therapeutic Adult Support Worker, you will:
- Deliver person‑centred, therapeutic support tailored to individual needs
- Promote independence by supporting daily living skills (ADLs) such as cooking, budgeting, and personal care
- Build trusting, respectful relationships that empower service users to make informed choices
- Support individuals to maintain safe, stable tenancies and positive home environments
- Enable access to education, employment, and community opportunities
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and multi‑agency partners
- Maintain accurate, high‑quality records in line with regulatory and organisational standards
- Act as a positive role‑model, demonstrating professionalism and emotional resilience
Shift Pattern: Full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time (24 hours) available. Typical shifts include: 8:00pm – 8:00am. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of the individuals we support.
About You: You will:
- Have at least 6 months’ recent experience in a relevant setting with direct or transferable skills
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to person‑centred and values‑based care
- Be compassionate, reliable, and emotionally aware
- Show accountability and professionalism in your practice
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and professionals
- Be adaptable, resilient, and willing to learn and develop
