A long-established and reputable supplier of industrial food-processing machinery is seeking a skilled Process Electrical Engineer to join their expanding engineering team. Role Overview

This is a dynamic, hands-on position where variety comes as standard. The successful candidate will:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, components and control panels
  • Commission, test and fault-find inverters, PLCs and other control systems
  • Work both in a workshop environment and at customer sites when required
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve electrical issues efficiently
  • Utilise programmable logic controllers to support automation improvements
  • Collaborate with mechanical and project engineers to enhance system performance
  • Create technical documents, reports and user manuals
  • Stay informed about new electrical technologies and industry advancements

Candidate Requirements

To excel in this role, applicants should bring:

  • Relevant qualifications (18th Edition preferred)
  • Strong background in electrical design and system development
  • Confident understanding of inverters, PLCs and automation control
  • Ability to work on-site and in-house depending on project demands
  • Analytical mindset with strong troubleshooting capabilities

  • Experience in dairy/food machinery or automation is desirable
