Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Chef, with good knife skills, interested in a career change? Do you have a passion for delivering excellent customer service? Are you looking for a new challenge? This could be the role for you.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for skilled and highly motivated Chefs that are keen to put their skills to use in a DAYS ONLY customer facing role. Successful candidates will join an award-winning, multi-site high-end food retailer at their newest site near Great Shelford, Cambridgeshire. The product offering includes the finest cuts of beef, lamb, pork, poultry and game sourced from a small select group of farmers and suppliers.
The role:
- Cut, Tie and Portion Control
- Assist in making the seasonal range of 'meal solutions'
- Deliver an outstanding experience to all customers
- Create inspiring, innovative, seasonally changing displays
- Ensure self-serve displays in chillers are attractive and shoppable
- Proactively share product information with the team and with customers
- Practice necessary due diligence – health and safety, food safety etc.
- Stock control
What we are looking for:
