Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client to appoint an experienced Land & Development Surveyor to join their busy Development team. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • Provide professional development advice on the commercial and residential property portfolio. • Manage staff working to the postholder through procedural control including key result areas and development and staff appraisal techniques. Allocate cases, and give guidance, supervise, direct as well as ensure completion of assigned cases. • Ensure that valuation work undertaken by staff working to the postholder is in accordance with the Statutory Code and CIPFA and RICS Practice Statements and Guidance Notes and is in compliance with standing orders, financial regulations, codes and practices. • Manage the letting, renewal and ongoing administration of commercial and agricultural tenancies. • Undertake development appraisals of brownfield and greenfield sites and develop strategies to generate capital receipts on disposal or secure joint venture agreements with third parties to deliver completed product as a retained asset. • Negotiate joint venture agreements with third parties on land holding to secure key regeneration projects and enhance the retained portfolio. • Provide property and development advice through multi-disciplinary project teams covering residential, retail, commercial and industrial schemes, supporting the delivery of the Property Services Business Plan, Asset Management Plan and Capital Programme
