About the

Role: We are seeking a Tenancy Specialist to manage and support tenancies within the social housing sector.

This role focuses on the legal, administrative, and support aspects of tenancies, ensuring both tenants and landlords uphold their responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenancies, including letting properties, allocating keys, and terminating tenancies while ensuring all legal and procedural requirements are met.
  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants, providing guidance on tenancy matters, independent living skills, budgeting, and understanding tenancy agreements.
  • Support vulnerable tenants, such as those at risk of homelessness, refugees, or people with disabilities.
  • Address anti-social behaviour and neighbourhood issues, including court attendance for cases like rent arrears or evictions.
  • Ensure properties meet health and safety standards and coordinate repairs or improvements.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, local authorities, and other stakeholders to foster positive neighbourhoods.
  • Manage rent collection, address arrears, and organise property inspections and maintenance works.
