Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a registered social landlord committed to providing safe, quality homes for tenants, to appoint an interim Disrepair Surveyor and help improve homes and communities within Wiltshire.
As a Disrepair Surveyor, you will:
- Conduct thorough property inspections to identify disrepair issues.
- Prepare accurate reports detailing findings and recommendations.
- Liaise with tenants, contractors, and colleagues to resolve disrepair matters promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with housing regulations, policies, and health & safety standards.
- Monitor ongoing repair projects, ensuring they meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
What We\’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in disrepair surveying or a related field.
- A relevant qualification in surveying or construction (e.g., RICS or CIOB accreditation is advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of housing legislation and building standards.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive tenant concerns.
