Building Surveyor Permanent £50,000 p.a + £4,500 car allowance M4 Corridor – Chippenham, Bristol, Gloucestershire (with some work in South Wales) We’re looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team, working across the M4 corridor and occasionally in South Wales. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Building Surveying professional who enjoys seeing projects through from concept to completion. What you’ll be doing You’ll take ownership of a varied portfolio of property improvement and maintenance projects, typically including: * External and internal decorations * Electrical upgrades * Roofing works * Boundary and retaining wall repairs From agreeing the brief with clients to managing on-site delivery, you’ll be involved every step of the way: * Scoping and specifying works * Preparing tender documents and managing procurement * Appointing and managing contractors * Overseeing works on site through to successful completion What we’re looking for We’re seeking someone with a Building Surveying background, ideally with experience in property maintenance or refurbishment projects. You’ll need solid technical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the confidence to manage contractors and clients alike. This role would also suit someone who is working towards professional membership – we’ll support you in achieving RICS, MCIOB, or MCABE status.
