We are recruiting for an Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading organisation.
Working from home and going to site the role involves carrying out asbestos management and refurbishment/demolition surveys across residential properties, including houses and flats, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with current legislation and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities * Conduct asbestos management surveys on domestic properties. * Collect asbestos samples safely and accurately. * Record survey findings using electronic reporting systems. * Produce clear, accurate survey data for report preparation. * Work in compliance with HSE guidance and company procedures. * Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
Essential Requirements * BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent recognised asbestos surveying qualification). * Full UK driving licence. * Good understanding of current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance. * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. * Good communication and organisational skills. * Right to work in the UK.
Desirable * Previous experience surveying residential housing stock and flats. * Experience using handheld survey/reporting software.
