We have partnered with a prestigious European Infrastructure Fund, who are now actively deploying capital into Core / Core + infrastructure projects across Europe, to appoint an Investment Associate.
The Role:
- Apply critical thinking and judgment in analysing and evaluating investment opportunities
- Prepare industry and competitive landscape research
- Construct detailed operating, financial, and transaction models, including an ability to develop and run several operating, financing and transaction scenarios
- Ability to communicate clearly in written communication including the drafting of investment evaluation materials and sector/theme analyses
- Support negotiating of debt facilities, purchase agreements, employment agreements, and incentive compensation for management teams
- Act proactively in all matters arising in the ordinary course of investment management, acting quickly to identify, address, and correct issues
Requirements:
- 2 - 5 years in Private Equity, Investment Banking or other principal investing role
- Demonstrated prior investment experience in which the professional successfully managed relevant stages of an investment
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
- High degree of attention to detail with strong presentation and written communication capabilities
- Top academic credentials
