We are partnering with a leading investment firm to appoint a Quant Engineer to join a high-performing team focused on developing analytics, automation, and technology solutions that support investment and trading activities. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a passion for financial markets and technology to work on a broad range of projects across quantitative research, risk analytics, data engineering, and process automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop quantitative research tools and analytics frameworks.
- Design and enhance risk models and performance attribution capabilities.
- Build dashboards and reporting solutions to provide insights into portfolio and trading activity.
- Automate business processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with investment, risk, and operations teams to deliver scalable technology solutions.
- Write high-quality, production-grade code with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day development projects.
Requirements
- 3β6 years' experience in quantitative development, software engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Strong Python programming skills are essential and will be a key requirement for this position. Candidates should be highly proficient in Python and comfortable building production-quality applications and analytics tools.
- Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Numba, or other data science frameworks would be advantageous.
- Exposure to financial markets, fixed income products, or credit instruments would be beneficial, although not essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
