We are partnering with a prestigious London-based asset manager to recruit a Portfolio Analyst for their private equity team. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse investment strategies, including climate, infrastructure, and technology.
Duties:
- Track and analyse portfolio company performance through the investment cycle.
- Prepare monthly/quarterly portfolio company valuations using DCF analysis.
- Collaborate with the deal team on financial and strategic initiatives within portfolio companies.
- Engage in ongoing dialogue with senior leadership of portfolio companies on performance trends and KPIs.
- Prepare quarterly reviews and analysis for internal portfolio management committees.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in roles such as private equity portfolio management, asset management, or investment banking.
- Strong investing and financial acumen with the ability to analyse financial reporting.
- Proficiency in building and interpreting financial models, including LBO and DCF modeling skills.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering impactful presentations to stakeholders.
- Fluency in an additional European language (German, French) is required.
- Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines.
