Elevate Partners are partnered with a global leading prop trading firm currently seeking experienced C++ Software Engineers to join their high-performing technology team in Amsterdam. Technology sits at the core of the business, with proprietary systems driving millions of trading decisions daily across global markets. The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative engineering environment focused on building ultra-low latency, high-performance systems that directly impact trading performance. The engineering team develops software operating within the latency-critical layer of the firm’s trading infrastructure. This includes market connectivity, large-scale data handling, trading algorithms, execution systems, and advanced hardware integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance C++ applications within a low-latency trading environment
  • Build scalable and reliable software solutions for trading, execution, and hardware development teams
  • Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers on end-to-end product development
  • Gather business requirements and collaborate with key internal stakeholders to deliver innovative technical solutions
  • Contribute to greenfield projects while taking ownership across the full software development lifecycle
  • Balance performance, latency, scalability, maintainability, and reliability across complex distributed systems
  • Operate within an agile engineering environment with advanced automated testing and continuous deployment practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ professional software engineering experience post-graduation
  • Strong commercial C++ development experience, ideally using modern C++ standards
  • Experience working within Linux environments
  • Familiarity with Python scripting
  • Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes environments
