  • Welder / Fabricator to join our client's team at their facility in

Kintore, Aberdeenshire . This is a permanent, full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a range of specialist fabrication projects for the offshore and energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out high-quality welding and fabrication activities in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Manufacture and assemble offshore equipment and structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including carbon steel and stainless steel .
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship at all times.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in

Flux Core, MIG and TIG welding .

  • Welding codings stamped by

Lloyd's Register and/or DNV .

  • Ability to weld both stainless steel and carbon steel .
  • Experience working to

X-Ray, MPI, DPI and UT inspection standards .

  • Strong ability to read and interpret fabrication and engineering drawings .

• Proven experience fabricating

  • Lifting frames
  • Offshore containers
  • Skids
  • Pipework
  • Pressure vessels
  • Understanding of

DNV 2.7-1 requirements , including dimensional tolerances.

• Competent in the use of fabrication tools and equipment, including

  • Grinders
  • Plasma cutters
  • Magnetic drills
  • Other workshop fabrication equipment
