We are seeking an experienced Commercial / Technology Lawyer to support a high-volume, international commercial legal function on a part-time, interim basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer with strong technology transactions experience, particularly in US-facing SaaS and sales agreements, who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced global business environment.
Contract Details
- Part-Time: 20 hours per week
- Duration: Initial 6–8 month contract, with potential for extension
- Working Pattern: Ideally 4 hours per day
- Preferred Hours: Approx. 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM UK time to align with US stakeholders
- Location: Flexible, though candidates able to support US time zones are preferred
Ideal profile may include UK-based lawyers able to provide overlap with East and West Coast US teams.
Required Experience
- Qualified lawyer with mid-level PQE / equivalent commercial experience
- Strong background in commercial technology transactions
- Significant experience negotiating SaaS, software licensing and complex sales agreements
- Experience supporting US-based commercial/sales teams
- Familiarity with global procurement contracting
- Excellent contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Desirable Experience
- Experience advising on data privacy / privacy-related contractual issues
- Broader knowledge of privacy regulations and related commercial implications
