Our client - an international law firm are seeking an associate to join their highly regarded real estate and infrastructure team on a 6 month fixed term basis to advise on complex, high-profile development projects across the UK. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of planning matters, including:
- Negotiating s106 agreements for large mixed-use developments
- Advising on CIL, heritage, highways and compulsory purchase matters
- Supporting major infrastructure and development consent projects
- Providing strategic planning advice and transactional real estate support
- Working closely with clients across the development lifecycle
The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer and have strong planning law experience, excellent technical and commercial awareness, and confidence managing client relationships and mentoring junior colleagues. Experience with DCOs and infrastructure projects is advantageous but not essential.
