Key Requirements:

  • Min 3 years of experience as a Patent Paralegal or within a similar IP support role
  • Strong working knowledge of European patent procedures, particularly EPO filings
  • Experience coordinating with external counsel and managing patent portfolios
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proactive, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate European patent filings, with a focus on processes before the European Patent Office (EPO)
  • Liaise closely with external counsel to manage patent prosecution workflows
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely filing and responses across multiple jurisdictions
  • Maintain and update patent records and internal databases
  • Support the wider legal/IP team with administrative and coordination tasks related to patent matters
  • Monitor incoming communications and proactively follow up on outstanding actions
