Data Privacy / Data Protection Lawyer to join a fast-moving, technology-led environment and advise on a broad range of privacy matters across a global organisation.

The role sits within the Legal/Privacy function and will involve working closely with Legal, Compliance, Information Security and business stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with strong experience across

UK GDPR / GDPR and wider international data protection matters , who is confident advising stakeholders and working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice on data privacy and data protection matters across multiple jurisdictions .
  • Draft, review and negotiate privacy-related provisions in commercial agreements, including

DPAs, vendor contracts and customer-facing terms .

  • Advise on

GDPR and wider international data protection requirements .

  • Support privacy risk assessments, data incidents, regulatory enquiries and data governance initiatives .
  • Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Information Security and business stakeholders on privacy projects and strategic initiatives .
  • Key Requirements
  • Qualified lawyer with significant

Data Privacy / Data Protection experience.

  • Strong knowledge of

GDPR and international privacy regulations .

  • Experience drafting and negotiating privacy-related contractual provisions .
  • Previous in-house experience preferred , ideally within a technology, Saa S or other data-driven environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment .
  • Experience across technology, cloud, AI, international data transfers and/or information security would be advantageous.
