  • We're working with a global technology organisation seeking an experienced

Interim Employment Legal Counsel to support its EMEA Employment Legal team on an initial contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced in-house employment lawyer to advise on a broad range of employment law matters across multiple EMEA jurisdictions, partnering closely with HR and senior business stakeholders in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Key Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) or equivalent EMEA qualification.
  • Significant in-house employment law experience.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law with experience advising across

EMEA and/or Europe.

  • Experience supporting

Works Councils, collective consultations, employee representative bodies or trade unions is highly desirable.

  • Experience advising on cross-border employment matters within a multinational organisation.
  • Commercial, pragmatic approach with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
  • Typical Responsibilities
  • Advising HR and senior stakeholders on a broad range of employment law matters across EMEA.
  • Supporting employee relations, disciplinary and grievance matters, workplace investigations and employment disputes.
  • Advising on restructures, redundancies, reorganisations and other workforce change projects.
  • Supporting collective employment matters, including Works Councils and employee representative consultations where applicable.
  • Managing employment litigation and coordinating with external counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Drafting and reviewing employment policies, contracts and related documentation.
  • Monitoring employment law developments across EMEA and providing practical, commercial advice to the business.
  • Working collaboratively with HR, Legal and business leaders on strategic employment law projects.
