We are seeking an experienced interim Energy Projects / Construction Lawyer to support one of our customers. This is a 3-6 months contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support on a range of energy and infrastructure projects, including construction and development matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of construction and commercial agreements (e.g., EPC, O&M, framework agreements, and supply contracts)
- Advise on risk allocation, contract strategy, and project delivery issues
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including project managers and commercial teams
- Support on contract management, variations, and dispute-related matters where required
Key Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with significant experience in energy projects and/or construction law
- Strong background in drafting and negotiating complex commercial and construction contracts
- Experience working in-house or advising infrastructure/energy clients
- Practical, solutions-focused approach with strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
