The opportunity:
Sirius Search is exclusively partnering with a highly regarded, successful and entrepreneurial business operating within the insurance sector to recruit an Executive Assistant to the CEO. The role:
This is a true 1:1 Executive Assistant role, providing high-level, confidential and proactive support to the CEO, while also working closely with the wider leadership team. You will be central to the smooth running of the CEO’s office — managing priorities, coordinating activity, and acting as a trusted point of contact internally and externally.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactive and complex diary management, ensuring effective prioritisation
- Travel planning and booking, including some international arrangements
- Coordinating executive activity across the leadership team
- Preparing agendas, papers and presentations ahead of meetings
- Accurate minute-taking and action tracking
- Planning and supporting executive meetings and events
- Monitoring deadlines and following up on key actions
- Supporting confidential projects and strategic initiatives
- Providing ad-hoc support to the Executive Chairman when required
What you will bring:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior Executive Assistant role, supporting at CEO level
- Experience within insurance or financial services would be highly advantageous
- Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable managing competing priorities
- Confident using Microsoft Office and digital tools to streamline processes
- Discreet, professional and trusted with sensitive information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Calm, solutions-focused and able to adapt quickly to change
- Comfortable working onsite across City of London and Maidstone, Kent locations (likely Mondays and Fridays in Maidstone and flexibility required on both locations Tues-Thurs)
