Elevate FM Ltd, a national Commercial Facilities Management company, is recruiting a Business Development Manager to help manage and expand its client base. You will be responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies to drive financial growth and build lasting client relationships, aligned with the company’s core values.
Responsibilities
- Act as the face of the business in the Manchester area.
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy to deliver sustainable growth.
- Focus on customer satisfaction, adding value for existing clients, and growing the current portfolio.
- Provide solutions for reactive maintenance issues and planned preventative maintenance programmes.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective and existing clients.
- Promote services and prepare quotes/sales contracts.
- Maintain sales records and provide feedback and after-sales support.
- Build long-term relationships with customers and contractors.
- Represent the business at networking events.
Experience & Skills Required
- Minimum of 2+ years’ experience as a Business Development Manager.
- Proven track record of sales success — particularly in converting cold prospects to regular clients in a field sales environment.
- Experience in customer support, strong MS Office and CRM proficiency.
- Market knowledge of building maintenance and FM (Soft/Hard) services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, time management and planning skills.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
