An exciting opportunity covering Manchester and surrounding areas! Elevate FM Ltd, a national Commercial Facilities Management company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to help us manage and expand our clientele.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of our company, responsible for creating and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sustainable financial growth whilst solving customers' problems. You must be an ambitious and driven sales professional with proven experience at building long-term and lasting client relationships, delivered through our core values of Integrity, Commitment, Authenticity & Nurture.
You will focus on customer satisfaction, adding value to existing clients, and growing our current portfolio by providing solutions to reactive maintenance problems and providing a planned preventative maintenance programme that makes our customers' lives easier.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Arranging business meetings with prospective and existing clients
- Promoting our services
- Preparing quotes and sales contracts
- Maintaining records
- Providing feedback and after-sales support
- Building long-term relationships with customers and contractors
- Representing the business at networking events
To be successful in this role, you must have at least 2 years' experience as a Business Development Manager, with a proven track record of sales success developing from cold prospects to regular clients in a Field Sales environment. Experience in customer support, proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, and market knowledge of building maintenance and FM (Soft/Hard) are necessary.
Excellent communication, negotiation, time management, and planning skills are essential, as well as the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
