About Elevate FM

Elevate FM is a growing national facilities management and property maintenance company, delivering reactive, planned and specialist maintenance services to commercial customers across the UK.

Our vision is simple: To make our customers' lives easier.

Following the award of a significant new national pest control contract, we're expanding our in-house pest control division and recruiting an experienced, qualified Pest Control Technician to cover our northern territory.

You’ll join an established commercial customer portfolio, with regular planned maintenance visits, reactive work and the opportunity to increase your earnings by identifying additional business opportunities.

The Opportunity

You’ll manage a regional portfolio of commercial customers, including nursery environments, delivering planned preventative pest control visits, reactive treatments and follow-up work.

The territory covers Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside, Cheshire and Yorkshire. Some journeys will involve significant travel, with appointments planned geographically wherever possible.

You’ll work independently, supported by our office team, and play an important part in developing our growing pest control division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver planned pest control inspections and preventative maintenance visits.
  • Attend reactive pest control call-outs and carry out appropriate treatments.
  • Investigate pest activity and identify underlying causes.
  • Install, inspect and maintain pest monitoring and control equipment.
  • Recommend pest proofing, exclusion and preventative measures.
  • Complete accurate digital reports, treatment records and risk assessments.
  • Maintain safe working practices and comply with relevant pest control legislation.
  • Follow safeguarding and site-specific procedures, particularly in nursery environments.
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver consistently excellent service.
  • Identify opportunities for additional pest control services, remedial works and new business leads.

What We Are Looking For

  • RSPH Level 2 Award in Pest Management, BPCA Level 2 or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Professional experience working as a Pest Control Technician.
  • Good knowledge of UK pest species, infestation investigation and treatment methods.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and work independently.
  • Confidence using mobile devices for digital job reporting.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the northern territory.
  • Ability to meet safeguarding requirements and undertake appropriate DBS screening.
  • Experience with commercial pest control contracts and multi-site customers.
  • Experience working in nurseries, schools or other sensitive environments.
  • Pest proofing and integrated pest management experience.
  • Ability to recognise additional customer needs and business opportunities.

What We Offer

  • £30,000 annual basic salary.
  • Performance-related earning opportunities linked to new business leads and additional revenue.
  • Company van and fuel card.
  • All required pest control equipment, uniform and PPE.
  • Company pension.
  • 28 days' annual leave including bank holidays.
  • Ongoing professional training and development.
  • Established portfolio of contracted commercial customers.
  • Support from an experienced office team.
  • The opportunity to take ownership of your territory and help grow our pest control division.

Why Join Us?

We're investing in our in-house pest control services following a significant new contract award.

This is an opportunity to join a growing business, manage an established customer portfolio and contribute to the development of a division with ambitious plans for the future.

Our values - Integrity, Commitment, Authenticity and Nurture (I CAN) - underpin everything we do.
