We are expanding our network of Pharma Lawyers at all PQE experience. General overview of responsibilities : Ensuring adherence to UK pharmaceutical regulations, including MHRA guidelines, by providing legal advice on regulatory matters related to drug development, approval, and post-marketing activities. Managing and protecting intellectual property rights, including patents and trademarks, to safeguard pharmaceutical innovations. Drafting and negotiating contracts related to clinical trials, licensing, distribution, and collaborations between pharmaceutical companies and other entities. Handling legal disputes, including product liability claims and patent litigations, to protect the company’s interests. Engaging with regulatory bodies and policymakers to influence pharmaceutical policy and regulation. Providing guidance and training on regulatory compliance to ensure that all stakeholders understand legal requirements and ethical standards. Skills and Qualifications : Ideally someone with a combination of legal expertise, technical understanding, and the ability to navigate complex commercial and regulatory environments. Must have relevant UK experience in a similar practice area and be available to commence assignments at short notice. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors. In-depth knowledge of UK and EU pharmaceutical regulations Ability to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating contracts related to clinical trials, licensing, and distribution. Ability to engage with regulatory bodies and influence pharmaceutical policy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders. Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical, business-oriented solutions. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients, often in a fast-paced environment.
