Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking experienced Solicitors (Energy Lawyers) - Commercial & Construction to join our customer’s in-house legal team within the energy and utilities sector for an interim cover. This role will support infrastructure-led renewable energy projects across commercial and public sector clients, providing hands-on legal support during a period of increased project activity. Prior energy sector experience is essential.

Skills & Experience Required

  • UK qualified solicitor
  • Proven energy sector experience (renewables, utilities, infrastructure)
  • Experience advising on renewable infrastructure projects
  • Strong commercial contracting background
  • In-house or secondment experience preferred
  • Experience working in a regulated environment
  • Available to start at short notice
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
    • Energy supply agreements
    • Private wire arrangements / ESCO structures
    • Data and metering contracts
    • Construction contract experience (EPC, O&M, framework agreements)

Key Responsibilities

You will advise on the development, procurement, construction, and operation of renewable energy infrastructure projects. OR You will support on a range of complex commercial and infrastructure agreements, including:

  • Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
  • Energy supply agreements
  • Private wire arrangements
  • ESCO structures
  • Data and metering contracts
  • Construction contracts (EPC / O&M)
