Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking a Funds Lawyer, UK/EU-qualified associate trained within a top firm's investment funds team. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience and excellent Investment Funds, Private Funds and Asset Management experience to cover starting asap.
Location: Croydon, hybrid 2 to 3 days in the office.
Specific duties to be undertaken in the role:
advising clients on fund formation, structuring, and operation of various types of investment funds, including private equity, pension, hedge, and real estate funds.
drafting and reviewing fund documentation, assisting clients with regulatory compliance, providing legal support on fund-related transactions, conducting due diligence, and preparing reports on fund investments.
advising fund sponsors on operation and compliance issues, portfolio investment-related matters, and general partner/manager compensation.
Key Requirements:
This position requires a thorough understanding of the legal and regulatory aspects of fund management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
