Elevate Flexible Legal Resourcing is seeking an experienced Team Lead (CDD/AML/KYC) for an exciting permanent opportunity with a leading organisation in the legal services industry. This pivotal leadership role sits within the Client Onboarding department and focuses on driving excellence in quality assurance, compliance, and training frameworks for AML, CDD, and KYC processes across the business.

Ideal for professionals with deep expertise in anti-money laundering, client onboarding, and regulatory compliance who are ready to lead and influence best practices.

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in Birmingham

Start Date: January 2026

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within CDD/AML/KYC environments
  • Strong technical knowledge of AML regulations and client onboarding processes
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement quality assurance and competency frameworks
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Skilled in delivering training and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Practical understanding of legal, regulatory, and commercial considerations
  • Ability to provide clear, risk-aware advice to internal teams

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Expert Coaches within Client Onboarding
  • Oversee quality assurance for AML, CDD, and KYC checks across the organisation
  • Design and maintain competency accreditation schemes and quality frameworks
  • Conduct periodic quality checks and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver AML/KYC and conflicts training to internal teams
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders on compliance improvements and MI reporting
  • Provide pragmatic, commercially focused solutions to complex compliance issues
