About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to join our growing recruitment client. This role will focus on developing new client relationships across the North of England, from Birmingham upwards, bringing new hiring partnerships into the business that will be serviced and delivered by our Manchester-based recruitment team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional who thrives on building relationships, identifying new opportunities, and playing a key role in the growth of a recruitment business. Our impressive client specialise in Industrial, Warehouse, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, Driving, & some office and administrative roles so experience within these fields would be desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new client partnerships across the North of England.
  • Proactively generate new business through networking, cold outreach, referrals and market mapping.
  • Develop strong relationships with hiring managers, decision makers, HR leaders, and senior stakeholders.
  • Present the company’s recruitment services and solutions to potential clients.
  • Work closely with the Manchester recruitment team to ensure smooth delivery of roles secured.
  • Manage the full business development cycle from lead generation through to signed terms and ongoing.
