A well-established engineering business is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager with strong knowledge of air systems / air handling to take ownership of a high-value sales portfolio. This is a senior, technically credible role with a mix of UK site visits and regular international travel, managing the full sales lifecycle from technical discussions and solution design through to quotation, negotiation and closing.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end technical sales process with UK and global customers
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Take ownership of pricing, quotations and commercial negotiations
  • Work closely with internal engineering and project teams
  • Deliver personal sales revenues in excess of £1.5m per annum

Ideal background:

  • HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience within air systems, air handling or similar engineered solutions
  • Technically credible and consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable with high-value, project-led sales
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD / 3D advantageous)

Package:

  • £50,000 - £70,000 base salary
  • Up to 25% company bonus
  • Company car or allowance (premium options available)
  • Pension, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Early finish on Fridays
