Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the domiciliary care service.
- Ensure the service remains fully compliant with CQC regulations and all relevant legislation.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and ongoing training.
- Ensure all care plans and risk assessments are accurate, person-centred, and regularly reviewed.
- Monitor service quality through audits, spot checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing levels, rotas, and operational performance to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Investigate incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
- Support business development and identify opportunities to grow the service while maintaining exceptional standards.
About You
- Previous experience as a Care Manager or Deputy Manager within a CQC-regulated domiciliary care service.
- Registered with the CQC or eligible to become a Registered Manager.
- Strong knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards, safeguarding, and relevant health and social care legislation.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing care quality, compliance, and operational performance.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards it) is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
