As the Day Centre Care Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring activities, care, and support are delivered to the highest standards while promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for every individual who attends. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of the Day Centre, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. Lead, supervise, and support the Day Centre team through regular supervision, training, and performance management. Develop and review individual support plans and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding procedures, and company policies. Plan and coordinate engaging activities that promote social inclusion, independence, and wellbeing. Build positive relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and local authorities. Monitor quality standards through audits, observations, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage staffing levels, rotas, and day-to-day operational issues. Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality at all times. Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive culture within the service. About You Previous management or supervisory experience within adult social care or a day service setting. Good understanding of CQC regulations and safeguarding legislation. Experience leading and motivating care teams. Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (essential). Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) is desirable. Full UK driving licence is desirable.
