A specialist offshore engineering company is looking for a Lead Project Engineer to take full responsibility for delivering platform and structural projects from contract award through to final delivery. You’ll lead multi-disciplinary teams, work directly with clients, and play a key role in shaping how projects are delivered across the platforms business. This is a senior delivery role with genuine influence, not a reporting position inside a large EPC structure.

What you’ll be doing
- Leading delivery of offshore platform and structural projects
- Managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and suppliers

- Supporting technical bids and commercial proposals for new work
- Building strong relationships with clients and contractors
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
What they’re looking for
- Around 10+ years’ experience delivering engineering projects within offshore energy, oil & gas or heavy engineering environments
- Proven experience managing projects valued £5M+
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness
- Experience leading engineering teams, suppliers and contractors
- Confident managing both technical coordination and project delivery
- A degree in engineering or recognised project management qualification (APM, PRINCE2 etc.) would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
