The role: We're working with an established engineering business delivering specialist solutions across a range of technical industries. Due to continued growth, they are looking to bring in a Project Design Engineer to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

This is a varied role combining mechanical design and project involvement, where you'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively from initial stages through to completion.

What you'll be doing:

  • Producing 2D and 3D CAD designs using Inventor, AutoCAD or similar
  • Creating technical drawings and documentation suitable for manufacture
  • Supporting projects from concept through to completion
  • Liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
  • Contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement
  • Supporting project delivery and on-site activities where required

What we're looking for:

  • Background in Mechanical Design or Project Engineering
  • CAD experience using Inventor, AutoCAD or similar
  • Experience within manufacturing, fabrication, or machinery environments
  • Understanding of welding (MIG/TIG)
  • Exposure to HVAC systems
  • Awareness of RF or shielding concepts would be beneficial
  • A practical, hands-on approach to engineering
