The role
- You’ll be involved across the full design lifecycle, from early concept through to detailed design, analysis and final documentation.
- Typical work includes:
- Developing design concepts and progressing into detailed solutions
- Producing 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings
- Carrying out design calculations and supporting analysis (FEA where required)
- Preparing technical documentation and design packs
- Supporting design reviews and working with wider engineering teams
- Delivering design work in line with project timelines
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, where engineers are expected to take ownership of their work.
