Overview

Field Support / Installation Engineer (UK-based with travel)

Hands-on field role supporting the installation, servicing and support of specialist industrial machinery.

This position combines site-based work, fault finding and customer support, with some office-based technical support between visits. UK travel is frequent, with occasional overnight stays.

What you\’ll be doing

• Carrying out planned service visits and breakdown support
• Installing and commissioning machinery on customer sites
• Providing remote technical support when not on site
• Supporting production and build teams when required
• Representing the business professionally with customers

What this will suit

You\’ll be a multi-skilled engineer who\’s comfortable fault finding both electrically and mechanically and dealing directly with customers.

Good fit if you:

• Have field service or installation experience
• Are confident fault finding on machinery
• Have some exposure to CNC, PLCs or CAD/CAM environments
• Are happy travelling and staying away when required
• Are organised, self-motivated and customer focused
