We're supporting a specialist engineering business developing high-reliability electronic products for demanding automotive and motorsport applications. This is a hands-on electronics engineering role where you'll be involved throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to validation, testing and production support.
The Role
You'll work closely with software, systems and manufacturing teams to develop robust electronic hardware used in challenging real-world environments. Key responsibilities include:
- Electronic circuit design and development
- Schematic capture and PCB layout
- Sensor integration and validation
- RF, power management and signal conditioning design
- Hardware testing and verification
- Fault finding and root cause analysis
- Design documentation and technical reporting
- Supporting products through development and into production
- Working closely with manufacturing teams to improve reliability and build quality
What We're Looking For
We're interested in engineers who can demonstrate experience in some or all of the following:
- Electronic hardware design
- Analogue and digital circuit design
- PCB design and layout
- CAN or CAN FD communications
- Automotive, motorsport or other high-reliability environments
- Sensor technologies
- EMC and EMI considerations
- Hardware validation and testing
- Component-level fault finding
