Hands-on role commissioning and proving CNC machines before they go to customers. This position sits in a specialist CNC machinery and software environment and combines machine commissioning, testing, applications support and customer-facing technical work.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Commissioning motors, amplifiers, motion control and machine software
  • Testing CNC machines thoroughly and signing them off as factory-ready
  • Working with production and design teams to resolve issues and improve machines
  • Supporting sales and customer demos with technical input and sample parts
  • Training colleagues and customers on software and machine operation
  • Producing clear technical documentation and training material

The role is mainly site-based with some customer-facing work.
