We're hiring a full time STE04 Structures Examiner to join our in‑house team. Based in Scotland, covering clients nationwide.
The role:
- Examining rail, highway and marine structures (bridges, viaducts, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels) and producing accurate, on‑time reports to the clients' high standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out detailed and general structures examinations to Network Rail and client standards.
- Plan access, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Capture field data, measurements and photos using digital tools.
- Produce clear examination reports and report safety critical defects promptly.
- Work safely at height and in confined spaces, including rope access.
Qualifications:
- STE04 certified (STE07 ideally).
- Minimum 3 years' experience.
- PTS qualified, COSS held or willing to train.
- IRATA rope access preferred.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Serious about safety and professionalism.
