We're hiring a full time STE04 Structures Examiner to join our in‑house team. Based in Scotland, covering clients nationwide.

The role

Examining rail, highway and marine structures (bridges, viaducts, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels) and producing accurate, on‑time reports to the clients high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed and general structures examinations to Network Rail and client standards
  • Plan access, risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Capture field data, measurements and photos using digital tools
  • Produce clear examination reports and report safety critical defects promptly
  • Work safely at height and in confined spaces, including rope access

Qualifications

  • STE04 certified (STE07 ideally)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • PTS qualified, COSS held or willing to train
  • IRATA rope access preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
