Our client is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a solo EBD home in Stoke-on-Trent. This is not a step-up role – it’s an opportunity for a proven leader with recent GOOD+ Ofsted outcomes to take on a service that’s stable, well-run, and ready for its next chapter.
The current manager is stepping up to become the Responsible Individual, offering the incoming manager ongoing guidance and a thoughtful handover. With a highly experienced and settled staff team already in place, the focus is on continued quality, not crisis management.
About the Role:
• Lead a solo placement service with the child already in placement
• Guide a stable, well-performing team through the next stage of development
• Maintain high standards in care planning, safeguarding, and daily operations
• Work closely with the new RI to ensure consistency and shared accountability
• Support existing team culture while bringing your own leadership strengths
