Elephant Music Group is the home of Elephant Music, Mammoth Audio and Split Music. We specialize in scoring trailers in the film, TV and gaming industries. We have a growing music catalogue and a busy custom shop producing bespoke compositions. We work on a lot of fun projects like Oppenheimer, John Wick: Ballerina, Anora, Love is Blind, and no two days are the same at the Elephant HQ.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager. Projects will range from acquiring, starting and running venues to undertaking market, brand and product research. Previous tasks have involved due diligence on acquisitions, setting up a charity and running events for a bar venue. Expect the unexpected where every day brings a new challenge and a new project to undertake. The job requires an all-rounder, with diverse experiences and a strong background in music and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Take up ideas from our CEO, form individual projects and work on setting them up with tasks and deadlines.
- Make, and monitor budgets, financial performance, and cost control measures.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance the efficiency and profitability of the projects.
- Oversee adherence to all related licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with artists, employees, and people with multiple skill sets. Form a network to find and recruit the right people for different roles.
- Ensure these projects and their tasks run smoothly, meet deadlines and are completed within budget.
- Handle staff performance reviews and resolve issues professionally.
- Manage social media for applicable projects when needed.
- Send a weekly report with performance figures to management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role.
- University degree or an equivalent
- Based in London
- Ability to work from home
- Genuine love for music and the arts
Requirements
- Pro-active, and proven experience in managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of licensing, compliance, and project operations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience working within tight budgets and coming up with creative solutions.
- Ability to coordinate and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with task management systems like Notion / Monday
- Familiarity with the G Suite: Google sheets, Google Cal, Google Drive
- Must be tech-savvy and have a keen eye for new technology, good with numbers and a quick learner.
- Passion and involvement in the music events, live music and local culture.
