Eleos Clinic is a specialist, consultant-led independent mental health service providing high-quality, compassionate and responsive care for children, young people, adults and families. We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Psychologist to join our growing team in London. The role is based in East London.

This role would suit someone who is bright, thoughtful, highly organised and genuinely committed to delivering excellent care. We are looking for an individual with strong academic foundations, emotional intelligence, professionalism and warmth, and someone able to contribute meaningfully within a specialist clinical environment and uphold a high standard in all aspects of their work.

The role will involve supporting a range of clinical and service activities, including:

  • assessments
  • therapeutic support
  • clinical discussions
  • treatment planning
  • report preparation
  • wider service-related tasks

while working closely with a multidisciplinary team and under supervision. We are particularly interested in candidates with:

  • A strong academic and clinical background in Psychology
  • Relevant experience in a mental health, clinical or care setting
  • A good understanding of psychological assessment, mental health and safeguarding
  • A well-developed understanding of neurodivergence, neuroaffirming practice and trauma-informed care, with the ability to apply these principles thoughtfully and sensitively in clinical work
  • Excellent communication, organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Emotional maturity, sound judgement and a professional, relational approach
